There are two things regarding the NCKU Distinguished International Student Scholarship announced below.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

1. Scholarship Application: For Fall-semester recipients whose scholarship end in August 2020.<\/span><\/p>\n

2. Scholarship Renewal Confirmation: For Spring-semester recipients under a one-year scholarship duration.<\/span><\/p>\n

1.<\/span><\/b>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>Scholarship Application<\/span><\/b><\/b><\/p>\n

The NCKU Distinguished International Student Scholarship for Fall-semester recipients will end in August 2020.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

According to the scholarship regulation, Fall-semester students can apply for the NCKU Distinguished International Student Scholarship around August. If you were a student who was first admitted for the Fall semester, you may be eligible to reapply for the upcoming academic year. Please follow the procedure as given in the Regulation of NCKU Distinguished International Student Scholarship. The regulations and the application form are attached to the letter.<\/span><\/p>\n

The timetable for application is as below, but the exact schedule will follow each department\u2019s announcement.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Aug. 12 – Aug. 31, 2020<\/span><\/td>\nApplicants have to fill out the form online and submit your application documents to the department office.<\/span><\/td>\nhttps:\/\/forms.gle\/w3PeMFaXHfDSphK26<\/a><\/b><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Sep. 1 – Sep. 11, 2020<\/span><\/td>\nDepartment committee reviews & evaluates the application. After the final evaluation from the college committee, the application will be sent to the ISAD.<\/span><\/td>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Sep. 14 – Oct. 7, 2020<\/span><\/td>\nISAD and the school will do the final check and propose the budget\u2019s approval.<\/span><\/td>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

During the application and evaluation process, you will need to take care of your own living expenses prior to receiving the scholarship in early November. Please note the exact remittance time will depend on the school\u2019s administrative process.<\/span><\/p>\n

2.<\/span><\/b>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>Scholarship Renewal Confirmation<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

According to NCKU scholarship regulation, Item 11 (1), it is stated that \u201cApproved recipients are required to be officially enrolled and have done the ARC verification to receive the granted scholarship every semester\u201d. For the students who have been under the granted period of the scholarship, please go online\u00a0<\/span>https:\/\/forms.gle\/iUUreY1Dhojg7KiR9<\/b><\/a>\u00a0to complete the info & upload the required documents and also fill out the attached application form and send it to your department before\u00a0Sep. 7, 2020.
